The Volkswagen Passat B6 / B7 Electronic Steering Lock (ESL/ELV) Emulator for sale is brand new and manufactured by MK3.

This emulator is designed for select 2006–2014 Volkswagen Passat B6 / B7 vehicles using Megamos 48 or 46 transponder systems. It replaces the function of the original electronic steering lock module and features steering lock sound simulation.

Programming is required before installation.

PROGRAMMING INFORMATION

⚠️ This emulator requires programming before use.

According to the manufacturer, the original ESL/ELV steering lock is required during the synchronization process.

The included MK12358 connection adapter is used to connect the original steering lock and the MK3 emulator during synchronization. Once programming and synchronization have been successfully completed, the original ESL can be removed and the MK3 emulator installed in its place.

Professional automotive locksmith or electronics experience is strongly recommended.

According to the manufacturer, once the emulator is installed, additional key-related procedures may be performed through the vehicle's comfort module where supported.

46 TRANSPONDER / PROXIMITY SYSTEMS

The manufacturer notes that additional key programming may require the original steering lock to be reinstalled. Keep the original ESL/ELV unit after installing the emulator.
