LED STATUS INDICATORS

• Red LED: Steering Column Lock is in the LOCKED position.

• Green LED: Steering Column Lock is in the UNLOCKED position.

• The built-in LEDs display the current steering lock status whenever the emulator receives power.

PROGRAMMING INFORMATION

Programming is required before installation.

Vehicle data can be obtained using either of the following methods:

• Read the ECM dump from the CIM (93LC66) EEPROM.

• Read the Steering Column Lock (SCL) EEPROM dump (24C04).

Once the required data has been read, write it to the emulator, install the unit, and start the vehicle.
