This Ford-style retrofit tilt steering column is designed specifically for 1978–1979 Ford half-ton trucks and installs without modification to the original vehicle.

Built with a Ford top shaft and Ford-style wiring connectors, this column is engineered for a factory-correct fit and feel. All 1978–1979 columns include pre-welded under-dash mounts, designed to match your application for straightforward installation.

Use ididit Installation Kit Part #3000053434 to replace your original column. Your OEM steering wheel mounts in the original position, maintaining factory ergonomics.

The column comes complete with a neutral safety switch. A gear shift indicator is optional and not included. A shift linkage (new or original) is required and will attach to the lower shift arm provided on the column.
