These modules must be VIN-matched and programmed with new virgin keys after installation.

Dealer or advanced automotive locksmith programming is required.

Many locksmiths and dealers do not have the tools needed for VIN writing on these modules.

In our shop, we use Autel IM608 or DMAX to perform VIN rewriting and to program new keys.

If a locksmith claims it cannot be done, they likely do not have the correct programming capabilities.
