HPC AG-2 — Oversized Tubular Lock Saw / Drill Bit (0.394" / 10 mm)
Item description
The HPC AG-2 oversized tubular lock saw is a destructive-entry tool designed for servicing tubular (round) locks with an oversized 0.394" (10 mm) keyway when picking is not possible. Common applications include commercial ACE tubular locks found on vending machines, some safes, and certain motorcycle ACE tubular locks. The saw fits any 1/4" (6.35 mm) drill chuck and is intended to remove pins to the shear line so a blank key can be used to turn the cylinder.
Key features
-
Oversized tubular lock saw for 0.394" (10 mm) diameter keyways
-
Ideal for ACE commercial tubular locks (vending machines, some safes, motorcycle ACE locks)
-
Fits standard 1/4" (6.35 mm) electric drill chucks
-
Designed to drill pins to the shear line — allows cylinder rotation with a blank key after drilling
-
Typical saw life: ~3 openings (actual life varies by lock construction and usage)
-
Not suitable for locks with hardened pins or ball-bearing anti-drill features

What’s included
-
1 × HPC AG-2 oversized tubular lock saw (assembled)
-
1 × extra saw top (spare cutter)
How it works (brief)
-
Confirm the lock is an oversized tubular keyway (0.394" / 10 mm) and does not have hardened pins or ball-bearing anti-drill features.
-
Mount the saw in a 1/4" drill and center it carefully over the lock face.
-
Drill straight into the keyway until pins are removed to the shear line.
-
Remove the saw and insert a matching tubular blank key to rotate the cylinder.
Warnings & notes
-
This is a destructive entry method — the lock will be damaged and will likely require replacement afterward.
-
Do not use on locks with hardened pins or ball-bearing anti-drill features — the saw will not cut and can be destroyed.
-
Use eye protection and proper PPE. Keep steady, controlled pressure to avoid damage to surrounding hardware.
-
Saw life varies with lock hardness and operator technique; heavy-duty locks may exhaust the cutter faster.
