It works with Autel key programmers (KM100 / IM508 / IM608 / IM608 Pro / IM608 Pro II) and XP series cloners (XP200 / XP400 / XP400PRO) to generate, clone, and program a very wide range of transponder types — including many difficult-to-handle vehicle immobilizer protocols.

Important notes & limitations

  • Programming/Cloning requires compatible Autel hardware (listed above) and, for many vehicles, an OBD connection or specialist procedures.

  • XP200: can program many chips but cannot read original keys for certain protocols (ID4C/ID4D/ID8A/ID4E) — use XP400/XP400PRO for full read/write support on those.

  • Vehicle immobilizer security varies by make/year — some models still require dealer-level tools or security access. Always confirm vehicle compatibility in your Autel tool menus.

  • This is a transponder generation/cloning device — it does not include remote fob functions (buttons) unless you pair it with the vehicle’s remote programming method or an appropriate remote module.
