Step-by-Step Programming Instructions (On-Board):

  1. Start with the key out of the ignition. Driver’s door must be open, all other doors closed, and driver’s door unlocked.

  2. Within 5 seconds:

    • A. Insert the key into the ignition (Do not turn), then remove it.

    • B. Insert the key again (Do not turn), then remove it.

  3. Within 40 seconds:

    • A. Close then open the driver’s door.

    • B. Close then open the driver’s door.

    • C. Insert the key into the ignition (Do not turn), then remove it.

  4. Within 40 seconds:

    • A. Close then open the driver’s door.

    • B. Close then open the driver’s door.

    • C. Insert the key into the ignition and leave it in.

    • D. Close the driver’s door.

    • E. Turn the ignition to ON (do not start), then back to OFF.

    • F. Remove the key.

  5. Within 3 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically, confirming entry into programming mode.

    • If locks do not cycle, restart from step 1.

  6. Within 40 seconds:

    • A. Press Lock and Unlock simultaneously on the remote for 1.5 seconds.

    • B. Immediately after, press and hold Lock for 2 seconds.

    • C. Door locks should cycle once to confirm successful programming.

    • If locks cycle twice, the remote was not accepted. Repeat step 6 for that remote.

    • Repeat for each remote being programmed.

  7. Open driver’s door to exit programming mode.

  8. Test all remotes.
