Item Description:
This is a brand new aftermarket ignition and 3 door lock cylinder set, designed to fit select Ford trucks. All cylinders are keyed alike to work with the same key, and the set includes 2 remote keys with pre-installed electronics, chips, and batteries.

 

 IMPORTANT:

  • You must reuse the door lock arm from your original lock. The new door cylinder does not include the arm.

  • All door locks are the same, you may for any of the doors including tailgate.

  • Professional programming by a locksmith is required.

  • If your vehicle is not equipped with a remote system, only chip part of key will program to start your vehicle.

Programming Notes:

  • If equipped with PATS (chip-based anti-theft system), keys will need to be programmed by an automotive locksmith or dealership.

  • Not compatible with vehicles requiring proximity smart keys or push-button start.


 Step-by-Step Remote Programming Instructions:

Note: You must have all remotes present during programming. Any remotes not included in the procedure will be erased.

  1. Do not press the brake pedal during this process.

  2. Unlock all doors using the power door lock switch on the driver's door panel.  

  3. Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, ending on RUN (do not start the engine). The door locks will cycle to confirm entry into programming mode.

  4. Within 20 seconds, press any button on the first remote. The door locks will cycle again to confirm successful programming.

  5. Within 20 seconds, press any button on the second remote. Door locks will cycle again.

  6. Turn the ignition OFF. The door locks will cycle one final time to indicate the end of programming mode.
