Programming Instructions: 2002-2004 Honda CR-V Keyless Entry Remote
? Entering programming mode will erase all previously programmed remotes. You must program all remotes during the same session.? Each step must be completed within 5 seconds of the previous step or the system will exit programming mode.
Step-by-step instructions:
Enter the vehicle, close and unlock all doors.
Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to ON (Position II).
Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on the remote.
Turn the ignition to LOCK (Position 0).
Repeat steps 2-4 two additional times (for a total of 3 repetitions).
Turn the ignition to ON (Position II) a final time (4th time).
Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button again on the remote. The door locks should cycle to confirm programming mode has been entered.
Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button on each additional remote you wish to program. The door locks will cycle after each remote is successfully programmed.
Turn the ignition OFF to exit programming mode.
Test all remotes to verify proper operation.
